About This Guide

This site is a plain-language guide to the NVS Lakshya Portal — the official learning platform (L.A.K.S.H.Y.A.: "Learning And Knowledge Support to Help Youth Achieve") for students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Classes 11 and 12, run as NVS's Special Academic Support Program.

The official portal lives at nvslakshya.org. That is where you log in, take tests and access study material. This guide exists because the official instructions are scattered across circulars, school emails and help pages — so we gathered the essentials in one place: how to log in, how registration works, how the monthly tests work, what's inside the study material, and the two scholarship tests — NCST for Class 11 and JDST for Class 12.

Everything here is written for students and parents in simple words. If a detail ever conflicts with an official NVS or Dakshana announcement, the official announcement wins — always check the portal itself for the latest dates and instructions. Our disclaimer covers this in full, and the contact page tells you how to reach us with corrections.
